Raquel’s Death is the life story of a woman who was born in the 20th century and died in the 21st century, a woman who, among many things, was a daughter, sister, wife, Portuguese citizen, artist, mother and a wavy-haired animal.
Raquel’s Death is a biography based on the imagined death of Raquel Castro (the show’s director) at the age of 99, in the year 2080. In this attempt to tell her life, Raquel Castro will confront her past life up to 2020 (the year of the show’s premiere) with her future life up to 2080, making the real past and the infinite possibilities of an imagined future collide.
